A new piece of information regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown may help Nick Gordon clear his name.
The 22-year old, who died on Sunday after six months under medical care, was found unconscious in her home's bathtub way back on January 31.
She was rushed to a hospital and placed in a medically-induced coma, from which she never really awoke.
With multiple outlets reporting that authorities are treating the death
as a homicide - and specifically looking into the actions of long-time
boyfriend Nick Gordon on the tragic night in question - TMZ writes that Bobbi actually had a history of passing out in bathtubs.
In fact, the troubled young woman got drunk with mother Whitney Houston
in February 2012 and fell asleep in a bathtub the night before Houston
died.
She awake to water flooding the bathroom.
Then, the night Houston actually passed away (from a drug overdose),
Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital for alcohol poisoning.
According to TMZ, Gordon’s lawyer, Jose Baez, is aware of these
incidents and will use them to convince prosecutors that his client is
innocent.
He will argue that Bobbi simply took too many drugs and/or drank too
much and once again fell asleep in a bathtub, never to wake up this time
around.
It also ought to help Gordon's defense that the Bobbi Kristina autopsy found no evidence of foul play.
Gordon, however, could still face a wrongful death lawsuit from Brown's family.
