Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has congratulated the newly
appointed Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Abayomi Gabriel
Olonishakin, describing the appointment as merited and well deserved.

The governor also thanked President Mohammadu Buhari for finding an
Ekiti man worthy of appointment as the Chief of Defence Staff for the
first time in the history of Nigeria.
In a release issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi,
